Hello Moheb,
I'm from the Philippines and a graduate of BS in Electrical Engineering, 33 yrs of age. My career background has been into manufacturing industry since graduation from college. I have had several positions from my 8 years manufacturing work history from: QA Engineer, Production Supervisor, QA Supervisor, and Process Engineer (my present position). I plan to apply for the skills assessment for my Engineering degree.
1) What are my chances in passing the skills assessment by Engineers Australia (Assessing body)considering that my background is mainly and only in manufacturing industry though my degree is ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING? By the way, my nominated occupation is PRODUCTION ENGINEERING which is included on the SOL.
2) IF I'll be constructing my 3 Career Episodes, is it all right if the project that I will be discussing is more of a team effort but with emphasis on my participation? It's sort of like telling that: I was influential in the success of the project by contributing this ... and that... etc.
Most of the projects or assignments I've handled were joint effort with my colleagues.
3) Will Engineers Australia research on the integrity of the content of my 3 career episodes? Will they go farther by calling or asking my present and previous employers regarding the 3 career episodes that I'll be submitting?
4) Can you give some advice in completing the 3 career episodes. I can not think of constructing my career episodes telling that I was the one who initiated this project / spearheaded the improvement though I was not the one who did it alone on the first place. I want to be honest with my self.
I'll appreciate any advice you can offer.
Thanks and regards,
Kat
