diplomatic passport 2 Months, 3 Weeks ago
Hi there, my husband and i , both irish citizens, but living in cyprus are planning to move to australia on the skilled workers visa. My husband holds a palestinian diplomatic passport. Does this change anything regrding the visa?

As a diplomate both of you and your husband are not qualified for skilled workers or State regional visa's.

thank you for your reply. I think i shoould clarify something. My husband is also electrical engineer and has already been passed to qualify on the skilled workers visa. We have had his trade recognition evaluation done and passed. i guess my question was , does having the diplomatic passpart now en_title_ him to any beneficial extras, i.e. regarding visa charges or priority evaluation of visa.

Thanks for posting the right question.

Diplomatic passport holders will not any extra benefits. The faster process priority to applicants for SI (175 & 176) subclass given only to people in MODL list. If your husband in this list, yes the processing time will be faster.
