skilled independent or student visa? Which option. 1 Month, 1 Week ago
First of all thanks for creating such a useful forum.

I have already got TRA approval for my skills as a hairdresser.

If I apply for a skilled independent visa, It will take a year+ as I can read on this forum in addition to the uncertainities.

I cant wait for that long as I miss my 4 year old child who is in OZ with my husband as we have separated.

Please advise if I can enroll as a student in a 2 year hairdressing course in Australia? Will I be able to get PR after that course?

Your expert comments would be highly appreciated.

Maryam,

Of course you can study 2 years diploma in hairdressing and after you can bridge your visa for skilled independent subclass type 175, taking into consideration that the time you apply you should be under 45 yrs.
