If you are a university lecturer, then your ASCO Code will 2421-11. The profession is not required at all in SOL, and ACS will not assess this as +ve.
You should be a software engineer working in (C/C++)language programming and remember full time.
In another hand if you works in Microsoft for an example as lecturer then it will count as Software engineer/Lecturer

i also want to ask the similar question , i have 3 yrs ,3 months full time experience(C++) and along with this full time job i did part time job as well for one year and 6 months(C++) ,mean i was doing two jobs at the same time, so now am i eligible , do i fulfill the requirement of 4 years as c++ software engineer?
