Hi Experts,

I am about to get an offer from Australian employer to work under 457 work visa (either temporary or permanent - not yet known).

I believe that I am also eligible to apply for immigration on permanent basis and would probably apply once landed there on work permit and work for few months. Please advice the best way forward. (why I am not applying directly for permanent visa is due to the time taken and I believe that work permit is given priority).
