In general Australia is a very safe country; it has a very low crime rate and most of the crimes are either drug related or robberies, very few crimes are homicides or shootings in fact they are so rare that whenever that happens those incidents are featured in the national TV news at 6pm!.....
Australians are very enthusiastic drug takers compared to the rest of the world. Once upon a time ready rolled joints and cocaine were freely available from the chemist. "They were used by people as medicines and they were quite effective medicines in their own way....
Australian Police Services are not aligned with any political party and there is a definite separation between Police Services and the military forces. Australian military forces have no responsibility for the enforcement of legislation within Australian society....
